Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday tweeted what could be taken as a comment on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s address during the Raiwind march.

Bilawal said a legitimate opposition always put Pakistan first. He tweeted: “Country over politics especially at a time of crisis.”

On Friday, the PTI chairman had said his party would not let Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif govern the country if he did not present himself for accountability in the wake of the Panama Leaks.

“We are giving you [Nawaz Sharif] time until Muharram to present yourself for accountability. Your case is open and shut. If Pakistan’s institutions do not act, we will not let you rule after Muharram,” Khan had said speaking to a mammoth gathering, some five kilometers from the residence of Prime Minister Sharif.

PML-N leaders were also critical of Khan’s timing. Talal Chaudhry, speaking in Shahzab Khanzada’s programme, said the PTI leader should have waited for the situation at the borders to normalise, as the nation needed to send a message of unity across.
