Today is last day to apply for medical college entrance test

Today (Monday) is the last day to apply for test to enter Islamabad’s medical and dental colleges, both government and private ones. The ‘entrance test’ will be organised by the national health services and regulations ministry through the National Testing Service (NTS) on October 16.

The youths interested in enrol themselves in the new batches of MBBS and BDS courses at Al-Nafees Medical College, Federal Medical and Dental College, Foundation University College of Medicine and Dentistry, Fazaia Medical College, HBS Medical and Dental College, Islamabad Medical and Dental College, Islamic International Dental College, Rawal Institute of Health Sciences, Shifa College of Medicine and Dentistry, and Yusra Medical and Dental College will have to sit the test slated to take place in different cities of the country.

Among them, the FMDC is the only public sector medical and dental college, which is the constituent educational institution of the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, Islamabad.

The NTS will send roll number slips and call letters to the applicants for schedule and venue of the test. Apart from the marks obtained in the test, the further merit based on academic record will be followed by the relevant colleges. The applicants awaiting exam results are eligible to apply for admission subject to the provision of results before admission to their respective colleges.

They can download application form and fee deposit slip from the NTS website before submitting the filled-up forms along with the receipt of the original paid-up copy of the deposit slip to the NTS headquarters, I-8/2, Islamabad. All candidates will be provisionally allowed to sit the test subject to scrutiny at a later stage.
