Man injured in Mach hand-grenade blast

QUETTA: A man was injured when unknown men lobbed a hand-grenade at the Akbar Bugti Express near the Mach Railway Station area of Bolan district on Friday. According to Levies sources, the Quetta-bound Akbar Bugti Express was on its way when unidentified men, riding a motorbike, hurled a hand-grenade which went off. As a result, one of the commuters, Imdad Husain, resident of Haripur, received serious injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital from where, after first medical aid, he was referred to a Quetta-based hospital. Law-enforcement agencies reached the site and started efforts to arrest the suspects. Further investigation was underway.
