Police fail to arrest rapists of 15-year-old girl

BAHAWALPUR: Sadr police have so far allegedly failed to arrest the rapists of a 15-year-old girl.

The relatives of victim Shabana said that accused Allah Ditta, Shafique Gujjar and Attaur Rehman, employees of Civil Hospital, Jhangiwala Road, were roaming freely. They alleged that the MS, the police and others were forcing them for reconciliation. They said that though the police registered a case against the accused but they were allegedly reluctant to arrest them.

Earlier, Noor Jahan, a resident of Satellite Town, Khanpur, was admitted to the hospital gynecology ward. Her daughter Shabana was also with her. On August 29, hospital ward boy Allah Ditta, registration clerk Shafique Gujjar and Attaur Rehman allegedly raped her.
