Islamabad: Rain thunderstorm is expected at scattered places of Punjab, Sindh, eastern Balochistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in Khyber Pakhtunkwa, Fata and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next24 hours.
Isolated heavy fall may occur during the period.
Heavy downpour may generate flash flooding in Dera Ghazi Khan divisions and eastern Balochistan.
Weak seasonal Low lies over Northeast Balochistan.
Wednesday’s Monsoon low over Northwest Madhya Pradesh and Adjoining Rajasthan (India) on Thursday lies over Northwest Rajasthan.
Due to this low pressure monsoon currents are penetrating the country and likely to continue during next 03 to 04 days, said an official of Met Office.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country. However rain thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Sargodha Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas divisions, Fata and Kashmir.
