Woman among four killed in mishaps

Four people including a woman were killed and a teenage boy was injured in separate road accidents, on Tuesday.

Twenty-one-year-old Fatima, died while her 16-year-old brother, Osama, was injured after a speeding trailer – LSC-3176 – ran over their motorcycle near the Qayyumabad roundabout situated in Korangi Industrial Area.

The driver, identified as Aslam, was caught by passersby who had gathered around the scene following the incident; he was later handed over to the police.

The deceased and the injured were taken to the JPMC for medico-legal formalities and treatment.

Thirty-year-old Danish, was died after his motorcycle was hit by a speeding vehicle in Korangi, within the Zaman Town police jurisdiction.

Fida Hussain, 25, was killed by carless driver who rammed his vehicle into his motorcycle near Pankha hotel, situated within the ambit of the Shershah police station.

Twenty-five-year-old Waleed, died after a speeding vehicle rammed into his motorcycle near Malir No.2, in an area located within the ambit of the Khokrapar police station.
