Reacher has already delivered four seasons, with a fifth in production, and the sixth season has been ordered.

This is because the action/thriller series, based on Lee Child's novels, has become a stunning hit at Amazon Prime Video.

Now, the author Harlan Corban is eyeing to match the success of Reacher and, by extension, Bosch, a hit series whose leading character, based on author Michael Connelly, is Myron Bolitar.

"Much like, say, Reacher or Bosch, I’m hoping that Myron will continue," the writer told Collider.

Corban wrote Bolitar as a former professional basketball player who eventually began solving mysteries.

That is not it; the novelist has prepared a full canon for the character and a steady storyline spanning 12 novels, while another follows Bolitar's friend Win, and the other three focus on his nephew Mickey.

On the other hand, Peter Friedlander, Amazon MGM Studios' head of global television, said of the success of Reacher, “‘Reacher’ hits hard.”

He also raved about Alan Ritchson, saying, "Alan Ritchson is Jack Reacher — he’s delivered a performance that has captivated audiences around the world."

Reacher season five will be released next year.
