Iggy Azalea teases new music years after stepping away from industry

Iggy Azalea has grown increasingly distant from the music industry. However, it appears not anymore.

In an Instagram post, the Work hitmaker wrote a lengthy caption: "I am back recording music."

"Is that a bad idea? Maybe. Probably. Definitely," she penned.

Azalea admitted that she questioned her identity without music.

"Still, every time I’m incapacitated by mushrooms of the magical kind I seem to have an inner crisis about who I am if I’m not making music."

So, the singer said it is time to face those feelings, saying, "I can’t even eat them anymore because I know that’s where my mind will wander every time."

She added, "I also have to admit, although I enjoy living very privately & offline."

The musician continued, "I have a sort of anxiety when I do post or announce other things here, because I know my comments will be riddled with people asking when I will make music."

Azalea then added, "So recently I decided just to be sure I haven’t been running away from MYSELF too, I’d better record and guess what? I drove home really f***** happy that day."
