Why Princess Diana's two sisters rejected major plea of Prince Harry? 'Terrified'

Prince Harry has got emotional as Princess Diana’s sisters Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes have rejected his major plea ahead of Diana’s 30th death anniversary.

According to royal expert Rob Shuter, the insiders have claimed that as Harry approached his aunts, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes have declined to participate in his documentary about his mother.

The sources have claimed, “Diana’s own sisters saying no sends an enormous message.

“Nobody has to threaten anyone. People understand the consequences: help Harry tell his version of Diana’s story and the palace door could slam shut.”

There are claims Prince Harry will 'make his own film about his mother' to mark her 30th anniversary.

Harry has begun approaching Diana's old friends as well to take part in the film about his mother.

Royal expert Richard Kay recently claimed, “I am told that one of the reasons Harry's here is to make a television film, his own film, about his mother. I know he has been reaching out to friends and others who knew her, asking them to contribute. That's going to occupy a lot of his headspace over the next 12 months.”

Now, the palace insiders told Rob, for Diana’s old friends, the dilemma is brutal.

Many remain fond of Harry, but they also have relationships with William, King Charles and the wider royal establishment stretching back decades.

“Nobody wants to choose between Diana’s sons,” another royal source says. “But appearing in Harry’s film will be viewed as choosing a side — and people are terrified of what that could cost them.”
