Lady Gaga became a dedicated mother even before welcoming her first child, as she was reportedly "very involved with her surrogate and wanted to be part of every step of the pregnancy.”
After the 40-year-old pop star secretly welcomed her baby daughter Rose Bean Polansky back in June, a source close to the situation told Page Six that the whole process "has been a very long and emotional process for Gaga."
It was not a smooth journey, but was filled with "a lot of ups and downs along the way."
"It certainly didn’t happen overnight," the insider shared.
Sharing rare insights into Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky's parenthood journey, the tattler detailed, "There were so many appointments, meetings, and logistics involved, and she was incredibly hands-on throughout the entire surrogacy process."
The insider further added that for Gaga it was “really important” that she “have that connection with the woman carrying her daughter and to be involved as much as possible.”
“After everything she’d been through trying to become a mother, she didn’t want to miss a single moment,” the tipster noted.
“Having someone she could trust throughout the pregnancy meant everything to her," they added.
After all the challenges which she overcame, Gaga was over the moon after having her daughter.
“It’s been a long journey to get here, but at the end of the day, every bit of it was worth it. She finally has her baby girl, and she couldn’t be more thrilled," the source concluded.
It is pertinent to mention that both Gaga and Michael have not officially announced the birth of their daughter yet niether they have shared whether the baby is born via surrogate.
