Dolly Parton reportedly refused her family and friends to visit her during her final days as she wanted them to see her "dolled up" even after her death.

As per a report by TMZ, an insider close to the situation revealed that the Queen of Country final desire was that no one would see her in her "fragile, dying state" and she wanted to die with all her hair and make up done.

The source claimed. "Dolly's dying wish was that no one could see her on her deathbed."

"Because she didn't want anyone to remember her in her fragile, dying state," the source noted, adding, "Dolly wanted to be all dolled up after she passed."

So, the late country musician's longtime wig and makeup artist, Cheryl Riddle had exclusive permission, as the tattler noted, "She would see her anyway when she passed because she'd eventually have to do the hair and makeup regardless."

The tipster added, "So she was fine with her being by her side."

The outlet reported that Dolly actually "looked fantastic" in her open-casket service at her funeral.

Dolly passed away on August 25 at the age of 80 after a brief battle with cancer. She was laid to rest on Friday, August 28, 2026, in a private family funeral in Nashville, Tennessee.
