King Charles called the late King Harald his dear cousin in a statement following the death of the Norwegian monarch on August 28.

He said, "It is with the most profound sadness that my wife and I have learned of the death of my dear cousin, King Harald V of Norway.”

Two days after the late king was laid to rest, his only living sibling Princess Astrid also died at the age of 94.

"Throughout her long life, Princess Astrid represented the Royal House in a warm and dutiful manner," King Haakon VIII said in the statement. King Charles has yet to make a statement on the death of Princess Astrid.

His sister Princess Anne, and heir Prince William, had attended the funeral of King Harald on September 9.

It’s not known whether any British royal will travel to Norway to attend the funeral of Princess Astrid.
