Kate Middleton’s style statement is pushing Royals to do good
Kate Middleton is praised for her fashion sense as other Royals seem to be taking tips from her.
The Princess of Wales, is often recycled her outfits during various events, is helping g support small brands.
Expert Alicia Liberty writes for Express: “The Princess of Wales has long been the undisputed queen of royalrecycling, frequently breathing new life into outfits we’ve seen countless times before.”
She adds: “But after a year dominated by familiar favourites, her recent run of fresh additions has caught my attention, particularly as the Sussexes settle into their new chapter in Britain. Could the future Queen be quietly reminding designers where the real royal influence lies?”
“Of course, royal wardrobes are meticulously planned, and there’s no evidence Catherine is deliberately influencing designers’ relationships with Meghan. But with fashion insiders revealing the awkward decisions taking place behind closed doors, it’s hard not to wonder whether Catherine’s wardrobe is doing more than simply turning heads,” she notes.
This comes as Meghan claims she was "deeply distressed" as father is accused for child sexual abuse.
The Duchess has issued a statement clarifying her timeline with the Metropolitan Police, acknowledging she may have been "mistaken by a few months".
Her spokesman told GB News: "In recalling events from more than seven years ago, without the benefit of a diary entry or contemporaneous record, it is understandable that she may have been mistaken by a few months."
"If the MPS holds a time-stamped record confirming that the letter was reviewed in 2019, that should be treated as the accurate reference point for when it was received and shared with the Duchess," they added.
"I think it is reasonable to recognise that she is doing her best to recall the precise timing of events that were not diarised at the time, and that any discrepancy of a few months is an understandable consequence of that passage of time."
