Google has introduced Gemini Omni Flash-a significant move aimed at launching an upgraded generative AI model that unveils advanced editing tools and video generation capabilities for developers and professional content creators.

On Thursday, the tech giant said that the model makes generative video more controlled through conditioned video synthesis, making it suitable for real-world production through the Gemini API in Google AI Studio.

In this connection, the company said: “Gemini Omni brought real-world reasoning to generative creation, and today’s updates make Omni 1.1 production-ready for professional use via the Gemini API in Google AI Studio.”

“Whether you’re building generative video workflows, creative tools, or media editing software, these updates make generative video more controllable, faster to iterate on, and polished for real-world deployment.”

The model is rolling out globally to Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers through Google Flow while the separate scene unit feature is available to subscribers through the Gemini app.

Nonetheless, Omni 1.1 also allows developers to outline the first and last frames of a shot to generate video between two keyframes. Google confirmed the feature can be used for crucial camera moments such as orbits and zooms while creating continuous playback clips.
