Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez have finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony held in Portugal.
The announcement of the much-awaited wedding came to the surface when the Portuguese striker posted an image on his Instagram account showing two hands, wearing wedding rings. The caption of the photo reads: “C (heart emoji) G”. The image till now has amassed more than 20 million likes and views on Instagram.
According to the Portuguese media, Ronaldo and Rodriguez got married on August 11 in the coastal town of Cascais near Lisbon. The ceremony was a private and intimate moment attended by their five children.
The couple have been together for 10 years. Their first meeting happened at a Gucci shop in Madrid where Rodriguez was working and Ronaldo at that time was playing for the Spanish club Real Madrid.
They announced their engagement in 2025 by releasing the image of the ring posted by Rodriguez with a heart-warming caption, “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives" in her native Spanish.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez share a family of five children: 16-year-old Cristiano Jr., welcomed in a previous relationship; twins Eva Maria and Mateo; and daughters Alana and Bella.
