Meghan Markle wanted to ensure ‘harmony’ as kids met grandfather King Charles

Meghan Markle was a part of King Charles reunion with his grandchildren for a special reason.

The Duchess of Sussex, who joint Prince Harry Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as they met grandfather King Charles at the Highgrove House last month, wanted to portray family harmony.

Royal expert Jennie Bond told the Mirror: "It’s a good thing that [Meghan] was part of the family reunion at Highgrove a few weeks ago".

Meghan’s attendance was important especially as "the children deserve to see some family harmony: it would have been damaging to have to explain that their mother wasn’t invited."

She said: "I think her eyes are firmly set on their lives in California, their children and her business ventures."

Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
