Five people including a young woman were killed and another man was injured in different incidents on Monday.
While crossing the road, Shah Jahan, 25, wife of Riyaz Hussain got killed when a speeding vehicle hit her near Ghulam Abbas School, situated at Maripur Road within Kalri police limits.
Jan Muhammad, 35 lost his life and Irfan, 25 was injured when a vehicle rammed into them as they rode a motorcycle near Mai Gari situated in Malir in Memon Goth police area.
In another incident, 40-year-old Sawab Deed passed away in his house located in Orangi Town within Mominabad police jurisdiction, after he accidentally fell from a flight of stairs.
Fixing an appliance, Sadiq Hussain, 35 got killed after he received an electric shock in his home in Manzoor Colony Iqra University within Defence police limits.
Raees, 36, also passed away after an accidental electrocution as he switched on the motor for water pump in his Mohajir Camp residence situated in Baldia Town police jurisdiction.
