Queen Camilla talks about her ‘no go area’ when it comes to book reading

Queen Camilla is touching upon his dislikes when it comes to reading

Her Majesty, who is an avid reader and has been a part of various book clubs in the past, admits she does not enjoy reading one genre.

During her visit to London's legendary Heywood Hill bookshop to celebrate its 90th anniversary, the Queen revealed: “I hate sci-fi.”

“That, I'm afraid, is not my favorite.” Queen Camilla diplomatically added: “I'm sure a lot of people love it.”

“No, I can't do that, you have to have some things you love and some things you really don't love, and that really is one I don't love,” she shared.

Queen Camilla opened the gardens of Clarence House to host a special reception on Tuesday.

As president of the Royal Osteoporosis Society she celebrated 40th anniversary of the organisation while sharing the personal loss that continues to drive her support for the charity.

She has supported its work since 1994, the same year her mother, Rosalind Shand who died from osteoporosis.

The disease also claimed the life of her grandmother, Sonia, making the cause deeply personal for Her Majesty.
