Kylie Jenner just explained how she is still "super involved" in her Kylie Cosmetics line even after selling a controlling stake in the company to beauty giant Coty Inc. in 2019 for a massive 600 million dollars.
The 28-year-old Kylie is adamant she still plays a part in the running of the beauty brand and looks after the social media side of the business.
During an appearance on Kid Cudi’s new Big Bro podcast, she said: "I'm super involved. Like, really crazy about everything. I do the Instagram. I do all the posts."
Kylie launched her beauty business back in 2015 as Lip Kit by Kylie, which only sold a liquid lipstick and lip liner set before being renamed and branching out into other products.
The company was renamed Kylie Cosmetics in 2016 and now sells a full line of beauty products and skin care.
It comes after Kylie previously confessed she didn't know" how much money her beauty brand was making because she didn't have the password to her account during the first year when she was making millions of dollars.”
She told Dazed magazine: "I didn’t have my Shopify account password, and I didn’t know how much money I was making. I knew it was very successful, I just didn’t…”
"It really was not, and this is how I honestly feel, it was not about the money for me. It was really just a lane for me to be creative and make other people happy. About a year later, I [got] the password to our account, and I was like: 'What is happening?'" Kylie explained.
Kylie Jenner has also spoken out about the future of the company revealing she hopes her daughter Stormi, seven, will eventually be able to take over the running of the business.
"After 10 years, I’m just still so excited to create. [It's my] dream [ for Stormi] take over. I would love for this to be a legacy brand, and I’m working hard every day to set up that future,” the reality TV star said as she revealed her dream of passing on her business to her daughter.
