Amanda Batula is grabbing the headlines for confirming what the Summer House fans speculated to be true: her relationship with Wilson West.
The reality star said in a lengthy statement on social media, "We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity." It was never our intention to purposely hide anything."
"Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."
She continues, "We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected."
"Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."
"As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognised that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless."
"We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this," the statement notes.
She was in a drama-filled marriage with him for over a decade.
The pair met on Summer House and began dating in 2015, making them the talk of the town.
Three years later, the couple was engaged and married in 2022. However, issues began to crop up during their wedding.
Only four years later, the pair shocked fans by announcing their divorce. Reports at the time claimed the ex-couple relationship had been “strained for a long time".
However, Batula did not remain single for long. Weeks after her split with Coole, she made a public appearance with Wilson.
