Princess Beatrice feels ‘hammered’ and ‘bullied’: Pal comes forward

There’s a lot at stake for Princess Beatrice, especially considering the way the world is reacting to her father, the former Prince Andrew. But throughout this time she seems to be leaning more towards her grandmother’s teaching as well as keeping in mind the one priority that she has, that being her children, and her marriage.

Insight into how she’s navigating this tense world view that’s developed has been shared by a close pal of the sisters, one that is aware of their inner turmoil and the woes behind the scenes.

However, what is pertinent to mention, regarding their predicament, is that the biggest example comes from their ban from Royal Ascot this year -- an event they have attended since their youth, that too because of fear of public backlash.

According to the source, “they will get criticism whether they go or not – and not just that event” so they’ve realized “they just can't win.” But among the sisters its Princess Beatrice that has found the whole thing the most difficult because “especially the strain of the past few weeks” which the pal has highlighted. Reason being, “it has felt as though things have been in freefall, and she's being hammered and bullied by commentators.”

However, to maintain her emotional state to ‘keep calm and carry on’ she’s turned to her late grandmother’s advice, as mentioned earlier. According to her pal, “this is a family in turmoil, but Bea is working hard; the juggle of full-time work and being a parent is her main priority, in order to keep herself mentally strong and her life moving.”

Another friend also weighed in separately and addressed the rumors of their rift, before making one thing clear and that’s the fact that, “the only things that Bea and Edo are navigating are their busy jobs and looking after their children.”

Not unlike many working parents, because they have to “balance work with looking after the kids.”

All in all, “recent reports that things aren't good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them, and the only distance between them recently has been physical distance, because of work,” she said before signing off.

Another thing worth mentioning is that, despite their overall silence the couple have released a statement of their very own, via a representative as well.

Their statement was short but made clear that the rumors were “not true at all”, and included no further elaboration.

As of right now, not many sightings of the sisters are made either. They have refrained from public engagements, and have even suffered from some charities dropping them, as they did with their mother Sarah Ferguson who was not only named in the Epstein Files that are continuing to be released, but had lengthy email threads with convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A similar approach has been adopted by their father as well because not many sightings have been made of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor since his move to Marsh Farm, barring the one from his arrest.
