Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are said to be deeply upset after newly released Epstein files brought fresh attention to past links between the convicted sex offender and their parents, Sarah Ferguson and Andrew.
An insider told Daily Mail that Beatrice and Eugenie were shocked and embarrassed after reports surfaced about emails Fergie allegedly sent to Epstein.
In one of the emails, Fergie allegedly wrote to Epstein, “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe my love and gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx.”
“I am at your service. Just marry me,” she added.
To add to it, some photographs were also released as part of the newly released documents showing Andrew crouched over a female.
The source said the new revelations have been difficult for the sisters to process, with those close to them saying they were not fully aware of how close their parents were to Epstein.
“They are aghast at what they have read,” they said of sisters’ reactions. “They are mortified by the emails their mother has sent to Epstein.”
“It is so embarrassing for them,” the source added. “We don’t believe the girls [Beatrice and Eugenie] were told much about what has just emerged [in the latest Epstein files release], and they will simply be aghast at just how close their parents were to this appalling man.”
