Scott Foley has revealed how all the cast members of Scandal are connected.
The 53-year-old American actor, director and producer played Jake Ballard in the American political thriller television series, which aired on ABC from April 5, 2012 to April 19, 2018.
Shonda Rhimes’ series has an ensemble cast including Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn, Katie Lowes, Joe Morton, Jeff Perry, and others.
While conversing with PEOPLE magazine at the January 21 premiere of his forthcoming show, It's Not Like That, in New York City, Foley said a group has connected the cast of Scandal.
“Probably Katie Lowes. I mean, she just doesn't care. That's her motto in life, and she's so beautiful and talented, and we just let her do what she wants,” he shared about the 43-year-old actress, who portrayed Quinn Perkins in Scandal.
Notably, Foley became part of the series in the second half of season 2 before he joined the main cast of the series.
The Grey's Anatomy’s star confessed that he remained focused on the long-term success of Scandal but the strong connection with his cast members is a plus.
“You always hope that A, the job is long-running, right? It means I don't have to go look for more work. But in that equation, the benefit of having a long-running show is that you really get to know each other," he said.
Before concluding, it is pertinent to mention that Foley’s new show, It's Not Like That, will come out on January 25, 2025, on Amazon Prime Video.
