Ariana Grande says her next world tour will be far smaller than her past ones.

Grande, 32, made the revelation in a recent conversation with Nicole Kidman for Interview magazine, detailing that the 2026 Eternal Sunshine tour will include about 45 shows. This makes up roughly half of what she used to take on in her earlier tours.

“It’s not that small, but it’s at least half of what I used to do,” the musician-actress said, adding that she’s genuinely excited for the scaled-down run as she rebuilds her relationship with music.

Grande said she has, in fact, spent a lot of time restructuring how she makes music. Eternal Sunshine felt different because stepping back from the spotlight let her separate the joy of creating from the pressures of fame. That break helped her reconnect with her “gifts” without the emotional weight she used to carry as a public figure.

“With Eternal Sunshine, that felt like a very different experience for me," she said. "I think the time away from it helped me reclaim certain pieces of it and put certain feelings that maybe belonged to my relationship to fame, or the [negative] things that come with being an artist, in a box somewhere else, and say, ‘Okay. I don’t have to let go of this thing that I love. I can just put those things over here, and not lose sight of my gifts.’”

She added that playing Glinda in Wicked and Wicked: For Good also helped her reshape how she sees herself as a pop artist.
