Tenders issued for construction of roads in Khyber

JAMRUD: The provincial government has started implementing the announcement made by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi to construct 57 roads in Khyber district and has issued tenders for more roads.

It should be noted that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved the construction of several roads worth Rs14 billion in KP for which tenders have been issued accordingly.Officials said that the construction of a few small roads has started in the Jamrud tehsil of the Khyber district under the project. Apart from this, work will start soon on other roads, including the Gharizah Road which will be constructed from Jamrud Bypass to Choti Canal. The road will be four and a half kilometers long.

The second road will be constructed from Shagai to Lala China Ali Masjid which is two and a half kilometers long.The third road will be constructed from Bakarabad to Ghundi. The fourth road will be constructed from Warmandu Mela Road to Azgho Mela.
