PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday stressed the need for educational scholarships for youth in the United States institutions.
“The most valuable investment in the province is in youth through educational opportunities and scholarships in American institutions. “Our youth have exceptional talent in both education and sports,” he said while talking to US Charge ‘d Affaires to Pakistan, Natalie A. Baker, who called on him at the Governor’s House.
The US Consul General in Peshawar, Thomas Eckert, was also present during the meeting. The two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including bilateral relations, investment opportunities in KP and the overall security situation, particularly along the Pak-Afghan border.
