Rawalpindi: The number of patients being tested positive for dengue fever from Rawalpindi district is continuously on the rise as in the last three days, another 43 individuals have tested positive for the infection taking the total number of patients so far registered from the district to 228.
Data collected by ‘The News’ on Monday has revealed that to date, a total of 144 patients have been confirmed positive for dengue fever from Rawalpindi district while 84 from Murree, where a limited outbreak of the infection hit the population in the first week of August this year. Data reveals that the number of dengue fever patients being reported from Murree is registering a significant decline for the last one week or so. In the last three days, only six patients were tested positive for dengue fever from Murree.
