Prince Harry urged to testyfy before Congress over drug use

Prince Harry has landed in new trouble as Americans demand action against the Duke over his admission of using drugs.

The pressure is building on Harry after his uncle Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has been summoned by a US congressional panel to appear before them regarding ongoing investigations into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The Heritage Foundation's Nile Gardiner has called for the Duke of Sussex to testify before Congress over whether the royal disclosed his alleged drug use on his US visa.

Speaking on The Late Show Live, Gardiner said that Andrew was being used as a "political weapon" by the Democrats.

Responding to Ben Leo's suggestion that Andrew could be being used as a scapegoat for other Epstein-linked figures, Gardiner said: 'I do think that Andrew's being used as a political weapon here by the Democrats.

He explained, 'I do think actually, there's a far stronger case for Prince Harry to be called to testify before Congress about his illegal drug use.'

Sharing his thoughts on Harry's migration details, Gardiner reiterated, 'After all, he was allowed entry into the United States. That's a very big issue.'

Giving context to the allegation, Bev Turner said: 'I'm sure everyone will remember this story about Harry saying in his book, Spare, that he had taken drugs.'

Gardiner said: 'We are appealing to the Trump administration to release Prince Harry's immigration records because he admitted to extensive illegal drug use in his own book, Spare, and Prince Harry was granted entry to the United States.'

According to the US law, if someone has used illegal drugs, it's considered as a criminal offence.

"Was he given preferential treatment or did he lie on his application form? That is a federal criminal offence that would result in deportation or five years in jail."

Gardiner claimed the "stakes are very high for Prince Harry," adding, "fight goes on" for the American people to get the truth on the matter.

Ben admitted 'the precedent has now been set' for "stripping titles, asking Gardiner whether the Duke should suffer the same fate as his disgraced uncle.

Gardiner responded as saying: 'Harry should lose his title, 100 per cent'.

In an interview with GB News previously, Gardiner said that 'It matters to the American public whether people lie or not on their visa applications,' adding, 'I do think that no one should receive preferential treatment because of their celebrity status.'
