The internet got into a fury after a left-wing podcaster posted an internet meme portraying the late conservative Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk, as a “fake grieving widow grifter.”
The podcaster named Kyle Kulinski, the host of the show on YouTube called Secular Talk, who has half a million followers on X (formerly Twitter), faced heavy backlash for posting the image of a fake “Spirit Halloween” costume package with the nasty message and an altered Photoshop image of Erika Kirk.
The foul depiction is a play on the popular internet meme showing bogus packaging from the holiday pop-up chain that appears to be the real thing, featuring the iconic orange backdrop, complete with a rundown of what’s packed inside.
The meme is frequently whipped out to roast public figures or current events.
In this context, Kukinski shared a generated snap that spotlighted Erika Kirk shedding “fake tear drops” that caused the eyeliner to drip all the way down to her torso.
The post soon went viral and sparked backlash, as one of his fellow podcasters,Anna Khachiyan, reposted it with strong criticism.
She wrote on X, “God some of you are awful. Idk how you negotiate your love for your family and friends with your nihilistic contempt for your ideological ememies.”
Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old conservative was assassinated on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University while he was speaking to the students on campus.
After his assassination, Erika has now taken over the reins of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) as the chief executive officer.
