Sarah Ferguson has come under intense scrutiny after being accused of displaying 'craven greed' and shameless grovelling-behaviour described as 'unforgivable' due to its betrayal of Jeffrey Epstein's victims.
The Duchess of York, 65, has been dropped by seven charities following the revelation of an email she sent to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, in which she referred to him as a 'supreme friend.'
This correspondence came just weeks after she publicly distanced herself from Epstein in media interviews.
Family members of Virginia Giuffre-one of Epstein's most prominent victims, who passed away in April-have welcomed the charities' decisions to cut ties with the royal.
Journalist and Loose Women panellist Jane Moore strongly criticised Ferguson in her latest column for The Sun.
Despite having interviewed the Duchess on several occasions, Moore did not hold back, describing Ferguson's actions as a serious betrayal.
She wrote that this was the 'one sad reason' why the Duchess cannot be forgiven.
The growing backlash is reflected in the withdrawal of support from several organisations, including Julia's House, The Teenage Cancer Trust, the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, and The British Heart Foundation-all of which have severed connections with the Duchess in light of the scandal.
Jane continued: 'Is she just so naïve that, like so much of her off-colour behaviour in the past, she thinks it can be glossed over and eventually forgiven?
The seven charities so far to drop her clearly feel otherwise and it's fair o say that, in the modern parlance, she's been well and truly cancelled.'
