He particularly commended Pakistan’s stance and support for Iran during the 12-day Israeli-imposed war.

In response, Field Marshal Munir thanked General Mousavi for his expression of sympathy with the people of Pakistan and offered his condolences to the families of victims of the recent terrorist attack in Iran’s Sistan Baluchestan Province. He also supported the call to strengthen border security, stating that the two countries must work together to transform the Pakistan-Iran border into one of friendship, brotherhood and economic development.
