A two-member bench comprising Justice Syed Arshad Ali and Justice Dr Khurshid Iqbal heard the case. The petitioner’s counsel informed the court that the petitioner, Marwa Khan, was a student of matric, who is visually impaired. She scored 1,090 marks in the matric examination, securing the third position in the board.

However, her result was altered, and she was deprived of her lawful right.According to the lawyer, the BISE, Peshawar’s website initially showed her marks as 1,090, but three marks were later deducted. The counsel argued that instead of encouraging Marwa Khan, she was unfairly deprived of her rightful position, and the board officials failed to provide justice.
