He warns dangerous precedents were being set and “other country can become its victim tomorrow”
ISLAMABAD: Terming the US attack on Iran nuclear installations, which are under IAEA safeguards, a violation of international law, former Senate chairman Mian Raza Rabbani said on Sunday this attack had destabilised the entire region and brought the world to the brink of war.
“What the US has done in Iran is in violation of international law, inter-state relations and international humanitarian law,” he said in a statement. Strongly condemning US attack on Iran nuclear installations, Rabbani demanded that the OIC must immediately act collectively to prevent further US aggression.
He warned that dangerous precedents were being set and “other country can become its victim tomorrow”. The former Senate chairman said the people of Pakistan stand united with the people of Iran in their hour of trial, adding: “With such attacks the norms of global security and law are being thrown to the winds and need to be arrested immediately”.
