The News Education Expo 2025 brings various higher education institutes under one roof

The Jang Group launched the two-day The News Education Expo 2025 at the Karachi Expo Centre on Saturday. The educational event on its first day attracted a large number of students and parents keen to explore academic opportunities in Pakistan and abroad.

The event featured stalls from a wide range of prestigious educational institutions and universities from across the country providing students with guidance on higher education options under one roof. Several stalls also offered information on opportunities for higher education abroad.

Senator Sarmad Ali, Group Managing Director (Marketing) of the Jang Group, inaugurated the expo. Speaking on the occasion, he said The News Education Expo was being held consistently for the past 16 years, helping students make informed decisions about their academic future by giving them access to representatives of various institutions in one place.

“This platform plays a vital role in helping students understand their options and choose the right path for their higher education,” said Senator Ali. The varsities that have put stalls at the expo include Szabist, Al-Kawthar University, Sir Syed University, Sukkur IBA, Sohail University, Iqra University, UIT University, Greenwich University, National University of Modern Languages, Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, Sindh Madressatul Islam University, University of Management and Technology and Forman Christian College.

In addition to institutional showcases, the expo also features career counselling sessions and information on artificial intelligence, digital marketing and graphic design, catering to emerging fields of interest among young people.

Students expressed keen interest in the event and termed it a valuable initiative that helps them gather important insights about educational opportunities. They thanked the Jang Group for organising the educational event brining various higher educational institutes under one roof.

Sohail, a student who has just taken Intermediate examinations, said the expo helped him a lot by providing him information about higher education options. Naushaba, the mother of a girl in A levels, was another visitor who praised the expo. She termed the event a blessing for the parents like her who are concerned about the higher education of their children.
