Nov 26 protest cases: ATC issues arrest warrants for absenting accused

Hearing of the case registered by Aabpara police station was adjourned till July 15

ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Friday issued arrest warrants for the absenting accused after the police submitted charge-sheet against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in connection with the November 26 protest cases.

Judge Tahir Abbas Supra conducted the proceedings during which lawyers Sardar Muhammad Shubhishek Khan, Zahid Bashir Dar and Ayesha Khalid appeared in the court for securing bail of the PTI workers. Party leader Shandana Gulzar was present in the court. The hearing of the case registered by Aabpara police station was adjourned till July 15.
