Rawalpindi:The President of the Restaurants, Caterers, Sweets & Bakers Association (RCSBA), Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry, has praised the decision of the Chief Minister of Punjab to expand the tax net instead of increasing tax rates. He called this policy a wise and sustainable economic step that will build trust between the business community and the government, says a press release.

Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry presented several key points and suggestions, stating that their implementation could help achieve record-level tax collection in the fiscal year 2025-26.

The association emphasised that registering only restaurants and wedding halls in Punjab is not enough. A uniform tax law should be implemented across the country to free the business community from unnecessary complications.
