Ministry discusses development of varsities, compulsory learning

Islamabad : Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, along with Federal Secretary Nadeem Mahbub and Special Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz, convened a crucial meeting ahead of a session of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training.

The meeting focused on key priority areas including the development of universities, the right to free and compulsory education, enhancing student access to internet for learning, teacher training and capacity building, transitioning from non-formal to formal education, and conducting institutional reviews for strategic alignment.

Officials said the deliberations aimed to strengthen the roadmap for achieving the long-term educational goals of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and uplift Pakistan’s education system.
