Islamabad : Toward strengthening Pakistan-China educational collaboration, the Institute of Contemporary Studies (ICS) and Tang Chinese Education Technology Ltd. (TANG) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch advanced technical education initiatives in Pakistan.

The agreement focuses on introducing Matric Tech, Inter Tech, and NAVTTC-certified skill development programs in 20 educational institutions across Karachi, equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories provided by TANG.

The MoU was signed during a grand job fair organized by NAVTTC at the Pak-China Friendship Centre, Islamabad.

The ceremony was graced by several distinguished dignitaries, including Jiang Zaidong, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Pakistan; Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui; and Chairperson NAVTTC, Ms. Gulmina Bilal.

Ambassador Zaidong emphasised the importance of skill development as a foundation for socioeconomic progress and reiterated China’s commitment to strengthening bilateral employment ties. He also pledged support in facilitating job opportunities for Pakistan’s skilled youth in Chinese enterprises operating within and beyond Pakistan. Minister Siddiqui lauded the initiative as a visionary step toward empowering the next generation and fostering sustainable, industry-relevant education aligned with national growth objectives.
