SUKKUR: A shutter-down strike was observed on Sunday in various parts of the province against the death of the two nationalist activists and arrest of several workers.
Nationalists parties workers also took out protest rallies. Body of one of the deceased activists, Irfan Leghari, was buried after 36 Hours amid tight security. His relatives alleged that he was buried without their consent in the Muhammad Hussain graveyard. The police said that after the court orders, the body was buried after fulfiling all legal requirements. Advocate Noor Muhammad Tunio alleged that the police did not allow the residents of the village near the graveyard to attend the funeral prayers.
