he House of Amir Adnan unveiled its Summer 2025 collection, Nakhlistan, in a landmark showcase at Area 51, Karachi. Conceptualised as an immersive journey into a desert oasis, the collection merged ancient allure with modern finesse, evoking resilience, delicacy, and narrative.
But beyond the fashion, the evening marked a milestone in the brand’s history—the official appointment of Parishae Adnan as CEO.
A visionary designer and passionate sustainability advocate, she steps into leadership with a clear intent: to honour the label’s legacy while guiding it towards a future defined by cultural relevance, modern aesthetics, and conscious luxury.
“Nakhlistan—meaning oasis—symbolises a sanctuary of hope amidst vast, uncertain landscapes. For me, that sanctuary is my company and the people I get to work with every day. We need a network of support to remind us we are not alone, and that there is always something to look forward to. I hope this show becomes a beacon of light for anyone seeking a reason to move forward,” shared Parishae Adnan.
The Nakhlistan Summer 2025 collection embodied a thoughtful convergence of heritage and progress. Through muted desert tones, mirage-kissed pastels, and deep shadowed blacks that closed the show with quiet intensity, Nakhlistan offered styling that moved between fluid drapery and structured tailoring.
Details like asymmetrical embroideries, silk linings etched with the collection’s motifs, and meticulous craftsmanship highlighted Parishae’s dedication to authenticity.
The showcase attracted a notable guest list from fashion, entertainment, and the arts. Actors Ahad Raza Mir, Ahsan Khan, Khushhal Khan, Azfar Rehman, and Ali Rehman were in attendance, as were proud parents and celebrated designers Huma Adnan and Amir Adnan. Theatre force Nida Butt, philanthropist Ronak Lakhani, media stalwarts Seema Taher Khan and Saqib Malik, and art patron Imran Kureishi added cultural gravitas to the evening.
Bringing Nakhlistan to life was a collaborative feat. Makeup and hair by the iconic Nabila’s team added quiet drama to each look. Talent partner Zinc assembled a cast of 53 models, making it one of the season’s largest presentations. Omer Saeed created a soundscape that added depth and immersion. Lighting by Ayesha Noor Kurd shifted the space between sun, shadow, and illusion. Nida Butt’s direction and choreography brought rhythm and emotion to the runway, while
fashion and casting director Tabesh Khoja curated each moment with editorial precision. Area 51 served as the ideal venue—a dreamlike bridge between the real and the imagined.
Nakhlistan was more than a collection—it marked a turning point. For the House of Amir Adnan, it signalled the end of one era and the intentional beginning of another. Legacy here is not static, but transformed by vision. Parishae Adnan hasn’t simply inherited a name—she is reshaping it, crafting a new fashion narrative that honours the past while fearlessly looking ahead.
