LAHORE: A surveillance drone was brought down and seized by security agencies after it was spotted flying near the Lahore airport, according to informed sources.

The unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was detected in the vicinity of the Aviation MES area, where it was reportedly jammed and safely forced to land. The drone has been taken into custody by a law enforcement agency for a forensic examination. No injuries or damage were reported in the incident. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the drone’s origin, operator, and intended purpose. Officials confirmed that airport operations remained unaffected. Meanwhile, surveillance of restricted airspace has been intensified to prevent such incidents.
