Islamabad: The country’s renowned physicist and internationally acclaimed academic, Professor Dr. Syed Zafar Ilyas, has assumed the position of Vice Chancellor at Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), marking a new chapter in academic leadership, says a press release.

Professor Dr. Syed Zafar Ilyas is one of Pakistan’s distinguished educators, researchers, and capable administrators, recently appointed as the Vice Chancellor of Kohat University of Science and Technology. Dr. Ilyas has previously served in key positions such as Chairman of the Department of Physics and Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at Allama Iqbal Open University.
