The Clifton Cantonment Board (CBC) has completed the installation of an 18-inch-diameter sewerage line along Saba Avenue in Clifton.
The line stretches over 1,400 feet from Khayaban-e-Rahat to K!hayaban-e-Muhafiz.
This new infrastructure is expected to significantly benefit residents of DHA Phase V by improving the area’s drainage system.
According to a press statement issued by the CBC, the project aims to enhance the overall sewerage network and ensure a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.
The initiative reflects the CBC’s commitment to continuously improving civic amenities within its jurisdiction.
Executive officer of the Clifton Cantonment Board Muhammad Umar Farooq Ali Malik said: “This project is part of our larger development campaign, and we will continue working to bring further improvements to the area. Several integrated works are under way and will be completed soon.”
He added that the new sewer line would strengthen the drainage infrastructure and help resolve longstanding issues faced by residents.
“We remain focused on future development projects to ensure the provision of quality services to the community,” he said.
The CBC had requested the residents to cooperate with any temporary inconvenience during the course of the project.
