Islamabad:State Minister for Education Wajeeha Qamar visited three public schools in Shah Allah Ditta area on the outskirts of the federal capital.
During the tour, the minister interacted with students, teachers and representatives of local community. According to the ministry, the visit highlighted the importance of improving educational infrastructure, ensuring provision of adequate qualified science teachers and addressing the unique needs of rural schools.
The education minister expressed commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for rural students, emphasising the federal government’s dedication to bridging the gap between urban and rural education.
The minister showed keen interest in ongoing teacher training session. She said that she would stay in contact with the school administration and SMC members for ensuring better services and facilities. The minister said the ministry was committed to providing equitable opportunities to rural area students to thrive and succeed academically.
