ATC grants interim bail to Omar Ayub in Nov 26 cases

Omar appears in court along with his lawyers and submitted an application for pre-arrest bail in eight cases

ISLAMABAD: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Tahir Abbas Supra on Tuesday granted interim bail to opposition leader Omar Ayub in eight different cases registered against the PTI leadership on November 26 and directed him to undergo investigation.

During the hearing, Omar Ayub appeared in court along with his lawyers and submitted an application for pre-arrest bail in eight cases.

Judge Tahir Abbas Supra said that now, after four to five months, he remembered that bails have to be obtained, to which the lawyer said that we have already obtained bails in many cases, and now these eight cases have been identified.

The court granted bail against bonds worth five thousand rupees and directed Omar Ayub to undergo investigation by the next date.

If you do not undergo investigation, you should go to the police and inform the court.

The court adjourned the hearing on the pre-arrest bail applications until April 29. Cases have been registered against Omar Ayub in Karachi Company, Ramna, Secretariat, Kohsar, Margalla, Tarnol, and Aabpara police stations.
