Gifts distributed among orphans

Rawalpindi:Former Provincial Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr. Jamal Nasir visited social welfare institutions Aafiat, Kashana, Darul Falah, Darul Aman, Anjuman Faizul Islam (Apna Ghar) regarding Eid celebrations.

On this occasion, he distributed cash and gifts among orphans and helpless children, elderly people and women. Divisional Director of Social Welfare Department Rana Shahid, Deputy Director Rukhsana Bangash, Hira, Asma and other people were also present on this occasion.

Dr. Jamal Nasir said that the rehabilitation of the deprived classes is the primary responsibility of the state and philanthropists. He said that children should acquire knowledge and skills so that they can become educated citizens and bring glory to the country and nation.

He said that Allah is pleased by sharing the sorrows and pains of people. Happiness increases by sharing. We should spend the day of Eid with the orphans and helpless children living around us. In this way, our happiness will increase. He said that it is a special blessing of Allah that I have been continuing this service for the past 22 years.

On the occasion of the visit to Anjuman Faizul Islam, the General Secretary of the Anjuman, Pervaiz Akhtar and other people were also with him. General Secretary Anjuman Faizul Islam Group Captain Pervaiz Akhtar has said that the responsibilities of orphans and deserving children are such a duty that fulfilling it gives peace of mind. Finally, prayers were offered for the stability of the country.
