Women’s Day to be marked

Rawalpindi:To develop an understanding on effects of violence on women’s mental health and their domestic life, the District Women Protection Office, Rawalpindi will hold a session to mark the International Women’s Day on Saturday (March 8), at 4 p.m., says a press release.

The event will include an interactive session with experts on the subject and will be followed by a painting activity by participants and women affected by violence. The International Women Day activity will be held at the District Protection Office, Shamsabad. The centre provides legal, medical and psychological counselling services to women affected by different forms of violence.
