PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to restructure its organisational setup in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, leading to the removal of regional presidents and general secretaries.“The PTI aims to recognise its structure in KP to ensure individuals holding responsibilities in government do not simultaneously hold positions in party organisations,” said the communique.In the first phase of party reorganisation, the communique said all existing positions of regional presidents and general secretaries in PTI KP stood dissolved.
The decision marks a significant step in PTI’s internal restructuring efforts. The party has assured that new appointments for these positions will be announced at an appropriate time. Fresh appointments for these positions will be announced in course, it added.
“This step is taken to enhance the party’s organisational effectiveness and ensure focused leadership in both party and government affairs,” the statement added.
