ISLAMABAD: A judicial magistrate, Shahzad Khan, has initiated proceedings against Dr. Tahirul Qadri in the 2014 sit-in case on behalf of the PTI and has issued arrest warrants for MNA Khurram Shahzad, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, and other absent accused.
During the hearing, the court issued arrest warrants for MNA Khurram Shahzad, Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, and other absent accused. Moreover, due to his continuous non-appearance despite summons, the court has initiated proceedings to declare Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri a proclaimed offender.Meanwhile, the PTI founder remains on a permanent exemption from appearing in the relevant cases. The court has adjourned further hearings until May 5. Two cases have been registered against the PTI founder and others at the Secretariat Police Station.
