Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and former Sindh Assembly member Shahzad Qureshi has stated that the hypocrisy of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and their allied parties has been exposed.

He said PML-N and PPP appeared united in the federal government, but their ministers were fighting in Sindh and Punjab. "Both the parties are quarrelling over the distribution of looted wealth," Qureshi added.

Commenting on the situation in Karachi, he said the Sindh government had completely failed to fulfil its responsibilities. Ahead of Ramazan, the rulers had increased sugar prices in their factories, adding more burden on the people, he alleged.

The PTI leader also highlighted that increasing traffic accidents and other incidents in Karachi were proof of the government's failure, leaving the citizens to protest across the city. He demanded that the families affected by dumper and tanker accidents be compensated with Rs10 million each and the responsible parties face public punishment.
